What an amazing weekend we had in Maine!

It started out on Friday night with dinner at Delvino's and a store/gallery walkabout in Belfast. On Saturday we had three two hour workshops: Stalking the Wild prints with Wen Redmond, Fugitive Media with Judith DeMilo Brown, and Unique Batik with Beth Berman. The show and tell on Sat night was spectacular. We also played a game that was very educational...a sort of mock juried show. Then....on Sunday, at the Techniques-go-round, we covered SIX topics with Sarah Ann Smith, Margaret Sheehan, Beth Berman, Charlene Huntley, Sue Geno, and Sarah Carpenter. All for $25!!! And that included lunch on Sat. And most importantly, we all got to know each other better in an inspirational, supportive, and positive environment. Many thanks to all our workshop volunteers and to Beth Berman (and her gang) for all their efforts to make this a successful weekend! If you didn't make it this year, it's not too early to start planning for next year.

  1. Great post Margaret. I was just over at the A.V. Nickels Inn helping them get their webste up and running. Hope it will be functional by Monday. There are plans for a huge new room on the THIRD floor as well as an additional massive room up on the third floor which will include a full kitchen and the beautiful widows walk AND a ocean side deck. I will post info next week.
