Works in Progress Conversations Group
Wednesday May 17 from 7 PM to 9 PM
Works in Progress Conversations was started in early 2022 to provide an evening forum for SAQA members to get together and share our work. Our conversations start with your images and/or your questions, such as:
- Is there a fabric or photograph that inspires you?
- Need help deciding where to start or where to find materials?
- Are you looking for feedback on a piece?
- Are you stumped or working through a problem on a piece?
- Are you willing to share the piece on your design wall or that you just finished?
Come connect with like-minded SAQA members. Everyone is welcome! It is not necessary to submit a piece in order to attend the meeting.
The structure of the meeting is similar to the existing daytime ME/NH/VT Virtual Critique Group that meets during the day on the fourth Wednesday of the month. Each piece submitted to the moderator for discussion will be shown in order of submission. During the meeting, the artist is invited to provide context about the piece and indicate any specific areas of feedback desired. Attendees are encouraged to provide their input.
