Show Opportunities

From Festival of Quilts:
Art Quilt Masters 2013 is a juried competition that is open to all, with a prize of GBP 5,000. Judged by a panel of leading figures drawn from the art and quilting worlds, the works selected for exhibition will be presented in a distinct gallery within the Festival of Quilts 2013. The aim is to celebrate those quilts that transcend craft and demand equal billing with work shown in an art gallery.
All textile techniques may be employed, from simple quilting or patchwork to fabric printing, embroidery and creative mixed-media. Judges will be looking for a fully-resolved composition and powerful artistic impression. Abstract and figurative pieces are equally welcome.
DEADLINE is May 3, 2013.  Entry information is available on their website.

From the Texas Quilt Museum:

The exhibition will premiere at the Texas Quilt Museum in April through June of 2014. The jury committee consists of Karey Bresenhan, Nancy O'Bryant Puentes, and Sandra Sider.  To apply, please go to
