News from Jodi Scaltreto!

 I had one of my pieces accepted into the Quilt Odyssey show in Hershey PA July 28-31. 
Alikins Alley Cat
"The piece is done by thread painting using a photo then hooping it and painting the colors from the photo. Then I cut out the cat and appliqued it on to  a prequilted background which was quilted with only top and batting then requilted with the backing applied. The piece is only  12.5" X 9.75". It was the first totally thread painted photo I had done wanting to try out that technique." Jodi Scaltreto,   Hillsboro, NH
